There are many different styles and types of leaf guards available on the market, such as aluminum screw down, micro mesh, and DIY wire guards. The purpose of a leaf guard is to prevent the clogging of leaves in a gutter. Leaf guards do not make gutters maintenance free, as periodic inspections are necessary, however, guards do reduce the frequency in which inspections need to occur. Rainwater Gutters offers two types of guards: Leaf Blaster Pro and Bulldog.
If you’ve ever had to clear eavestroughs clogged with decaying debris or hire a contractor to excavate your property and fill cracks in your foundation, you understand the importance of having an effective rainwater drainage system for your home. Overflow caused by clogged or cracked gutters increases the risk of water seeping under roofs or into basements.
We carry Alu-Rex gutter guards—long-lasting solutions to protect your most important investments. The gutter guards we install on existing eavestroughs are part of our Gutter Clean System® line. They keep your gutters clear all year long, even protecting them from ice and snow in the winter. By blocking debris and preventing ice from forming inside your gutters, Alu- Rex gutter guards keep water away from the fascia and your basement.
Leaf Blaster Pro is a stainless steel, micromesh, high-flow leaf guard that helps prevent pine needles, shingle grit, and other foreign debris from clogging your gutters! This guard works with any style of roof and requires very little maintenance compared to other guards.
Aluminum leaf guard that screws in place. A unique design that allows water to flow through leaving debris on top to dry and blow away. This guard may require a little maintenance every once in a while, but is an economical alternative to Leaf Blaster Pro, that still renders very good results.
